The Easy Stitch Desk Runner!

My sister had purchased the Easy Stitch a couple of months ago and gave me the gift with purchase.  Motivated by my desk rehabbing I found this extra piece of Rubie Green East Village Fabric from my wedding and decided to give it a spin and make a runner for the desk. I'm not quite a steady hand but I think it turned out pretty good and does the job - you?

Fabulous Find Desk Facelift

You may remember that In May I found this desk on 75th Street and took it home with dreams of giving it a facelift... Truth is, I kind of liked the distressed look that it had and it fit into my bedroom decor perfectly!  The other night  motivated by the need to switch things up, I painted it gray.  I think though that it's way too light. Thoughts?

Someone's trash is my new treasure! Found this table on the sidewalk and can't wait to give it a face lift!  What do you think - high gloss or distressed?

If I had an outdoor living room!

Liza Bruce's Moroccan House

Liza Bruce’s Moroccan house in the February/ March 2011 issue of Elle Decor absolutely blows me away!  The colors are so vibrant and I love how she uses the Moroccan eight-pointed star shape in all those cut-outs throughout the home.

My Mother's New Master Suite Bathroom

Had a lovely day with my mom. She is redoing her master suite bathroom and confused as to whether she can use silver finished fixtures if the hardware on the sink dresser is a copper finish? Thoughts?
