Uncle Mo Derby Party

My husband has become obsessed with Uncle Mo winning the Kentucky Derby!  Yes, there's a slight connection to Mo's extended family, but he's gone so far as to plan a Derby party at Brother Jimmy's in Union Square and commissioned me to create the evite below.. I've enlisted Level Home Improvements to cut me a new headboard like the design below.  I've bought some amazing performance velvet from in Otter from West Elm and then plan to use silver studs to outline it!

VH1 Save The Music Songwriters Music Series

You may know that my "day job" is serving as Director of Corporate Sponsorship and Special Events for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation and it is with much excitement that I extend the invitation below (design not by me).  The Songwriters Music Series events will be fantastic evenings of great music, at a great ticket price and for an amazing cause... providing new music programs to public schools across the country!  Hope to see you there!

I've been hired to help a client create wedding welcome bags for her guests traveling from out of town to New Jersey. I'm trying to pull some inspirations to present next week and am partial to the bags below!  Anyone have any ideas for a cool, different and personal welcome gifts?
