Katie's Bridal Shower - Part One

I can't take all the credit for the events. There is always a house full of Dunn and Caramico girls, co-workers and friends who help pull it all together but the real story is that every event starts and ends with my Mother she's the amazing force behind it all!  In 2007, my sister Katie married her high school sweetheart and before she walked down the aisle and honeymooned in Maui we threw her a Luau Bridal Shower - here are some pictures!  I'll share some more tomorrow!

Alice & Wonderland Kids Birthday Party

It's an extremely dreary, cold and rainy day here in NYC so I thought that I'd share some bright and cheerful pictures from the Alice and Wonderland Birthday party that my mother and I created for my niece, Avery's Birthday this year!  Enjoy!

Alice and Wonderland characters were hand-drawn and cut-out for a friendly game of croquet!

Nursery Wallpaper!

To welcome the birth of my first nephew next month, my sister commissioned me to make a wallpaper border for the nursery!  Together we designed the border based on a Lilly Pulitzer invite and then my friends at HP made it into wallpaper.  The HP technology is really cool (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKzN2cwdLeg ) and will be offered to the public this winter (fingers crossed)!

My Window Boxes!

I'm a city girl that loves gardening and have always gazed longingly and with envy at those beautiful brownstone buildings with their cascading flower boxes!  This year my dream came true and I was able to plant four flower boxes of my very own.  Since this blog is about all things creative, I am proud to share with you some pictures of my flower boxes today!  Even in late September they're still blooming like they did at the height of the summer!

Invite for the 3rd Annual MCSF Gala and Silent Auction

I am serving as Co-Chair for the 3rd Annual Gala and Silent Auction to benefit the Mary Claire Satterly Foundation at the Museum of the City of New York on Saturday, November 20th.

The Mary Claire Satterly Foundation, is an amazing non-profit, that provides support to organizations and individuals, with a focus on finding a cure for leukemia and improving the quality of life for patients and their families.  To find out more about the event or the Foundation, please visit: www.mcspirit.org.

I've been working on the invite and we're at a draw as to which cover we should go with. The event will be "winter wonderland" themed, but is it too over the top to call the party "A Mary Little Christmas"?  I usually don't like to highlight one religion over the other - which cover do you like better?
